Who doesn't love the long sweet hours of summer? For kids, it is a celebration of hours of being outside- eating fresh cold fruit, and hours and hours of fun. For parents, it can also be a celebration- more family time, more adventures, and more memories. But after a few weeks, your activity ideas might be running low (as well as your energy).

Want your kids to be active and try out some science experiments?
The Earth School started Kigali’s first summer camp in 2011! The Earth School Summer Camp runs from 18th June to 17th August. Missed this first week, no problem! You can sign your child up for any of the individual weeks throughout the summer.
Dates: Any week between June 18th and August 17th
Who: Children 2-10
Cost: $175 per week (needs to be paid upfront)

Green Hills Academy also is hosting a science summer camp and a sports summer camp this summer! The science camp will focus on dinosaurs, marine life, the solar system, and growing your child's green thumb! GHA's sport camp features basketball, football, taekwondo, and swimming! All great ways to keep your children's brain and body active!
Dates: 9th July to August 10th
Who: Science camp welcomes children ages 2-Grade 8. Sports camp is open to Grades 6-12.
Time: Morning Session goes from 8am-12pm. Full Day session (only available at Science Camp) goes from 8am-4pm.

Does your child want to become the next future mathematician or build the new Kigali City Towers?
Maranatha’s Academy offers a S.T.E.A.M (Science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) summer camp from 9th July to 3rd August. What a great way to let off some steam!

Little Einsteins: The Science Explorers also offers a STEM focused summer camp! The camp allows kids to explore 4 different science topics: Structural Physics, Motion and Work, Physiography, and Tech Inventions! Their summer camp is located at two different locations: First Impressions Nursery School and Kidzmania at Kigali Heights.

Who: Children ages 3-12
Time: 9am to 12pm M-F
After care is also available at their Kidzmania locations from 2-5pm!

Want to let your child travel the globe this summer?
Camp D’Été at the Discovery International School is hosting and AuTour du Monde Adventure. Children will explore 5 continents and their culture through costumes, art, cooking, sports, and science! DIS also offers just a sports camp for the first part of the summer

Kigali International Montessori School offers a summer full of a variety of activities including baking, fitness, field trips and manufacturing. You can sign your child up for the whole 6 weeks, one week at a time or even just a day!

Who: Children ages 3-15
Cost: 10,000 RWF per day, 50,000 RWF per week, and 250,000 RWF for the whole 6 weeks!

Azizi Life Studio offers a wide range of daily classes on cooking and crafts! Kids can come for one of their classes at the times below or drop in any time to make one of the special June crafts: Tassel Garlands, Imigongo Painting, Banana Leaf Cards, and more!

Who: Anyone is welcome!
Cost: Making a project ranges from RWF 1,500 to RWF 16,000.

Who: Children ages 6-14
Time: 8am-12pm M-F
Cost: 80,000 RWF per week. If you register the friday before camp, you receive 10,000 RWF discount! You can pay at the front desk at camp 9am-3pm M-F.
