Last week we received news that Hope Academy Rwanda has been closed. The school was given notice on the 29th May 2017 to cease all operations as of June 2nd 2017. A request from the Turkish Government to transfer the school to a state-run foundation appears to be one of the reasons behind the closure. Neither HAR nor The Ministry of Education in Rwanda have commented on the situation.
